
Christopher David Grimshaw, age 44 of Bremen, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025. Born in Austell, Georgia, on September 7, 1980, he was the son of the late David Brock Grimshaw and the late Joyce Garner Brown.
Chris was an avid sports fan and and spent many hours watching the Atlanta Braves, the Falcons, and the Georgia Bulldogs. He also enjoyed deep sea fishing and traveling. Always ready for a trip, Chris especially loved traveling out West.
An excellent cook, Chris was known for his brownies and his ability to make a complete meal out of almost nothing. He was a country music fan with Brantley Gilbert being his favorite musician. Most of all, he was a loving, great father to his children. Chris will be missed by all who loved him.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Amy Blankenship Grimshaw; his children, Baylee (Austin Ingram) Grimshaw of Muscadine, Ethan Grimshaw and Daven Grimshaw, both of Bremen; and his precious granddaughter, Emmie Lue Ingram. Also surviving are his sister, Angela (Randall Mixon) McGinnis of Muscadine; his brother, Joshua (Crystal) Grtimshaw of Tallapoosa; a special friend, Amanda Williams; and his nieces and nephews: Breanna McGinnis, Collen McGinnis, Emma Grimshaw and Aiden Grimshaw.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, Christopher will be cremated. The family will host a memorial at a later date.
