Myrick Multimedia provides additional design services for those who have an idea for their advertisement, but might need some additional help beyond the DIY options available for customers purchasing time and space for the Today sites.

Pricing at minimum begins at $50 for any ad size in its simplest form since those take hardly anytime at all to design and is billed for a single hour of time. Cost increases in price by what the customer is seeking to create and how much time it takes to make that vision come to life at $30 an hour of time.

So for example: you are buying an ad for the Today sites and want to utilize Myrick Multimedia design services for creating that ad. You’ll provide a list of requirements and some graphics you’d like to include, such as your logo or a picture of your business, yourself or staff. If the ad takes just an hour to design, we’ll bill you for the hour for just the $50 minimum fee. If it takes longer – and we’ll be tracking the time – we’ll add $30 for each additional hour it takes to create the advertisement. If it takes 2 hours to create the ad, it will cost $80. 2 hours and 15 minutes? $87.50. And so forth.

You’ll only get billed for the time it takes to create the ad, with any breaks taken by Kevin during the process taken out of the overall cost. It won’t be down to the second, but we’ll round down by a minute or two for your benefit.

Anyone utilizing design services should note that ads will not appear until design costs are paid for by those purchasing an advertisement. Time will be adjusted if it takes longer than expected for the ad to run, but those who are seeking immediate turnaround will be required to pay the individual invoice for services rendered, and should take that into account when considering their ad scheduling before purchase.

Designs will require approval of those making an ad purchase online before they run as well, as would be expected of any advertising or marketing purchase made by a business or individual.

DIY Design

Still want to do things yourself? No worries.

You can utilize templates Kevin created for you to edit the ads. When creating ads, Kevin uses a program called GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) to make these flat and animated images for Myrick Multimedia sites. It is free to download and use, and is regularly updated. Think Photoshop, but the open source version you don’t need a $50 a month account to use.

It worth noting that these templates are made to shrink down to the correct size. So long as the ad correctly scales down to the size for Myrick Multimedia’s advertising platform, there will be no issues with how it is displayed and rendering them for mobile platforms.

Ad sizes should be sized in the image editing program of your choice with the following specifications:
