Mrs. Shirley Ann Hopkins Dutton, age 78, of Cedartown, GA, left this world to meet her Heavenly Father Tuesday May 20, 2025, with her loving family by her side.
The youngest of four children, she was born Cedartown’s “Baby New Year” January 1, 1947, the daughter of the late Fred Lee Hopkins and the late MaeDell Brumitt Hopkins of Cedartown.
A proud Cedartown Bulldawg through and through, Mrs. Dutton was a 1964 graduate of Cedartown High School. August 7 of that same year, she went on to marry the love of her life, Mr. J.L. Dutton of Rockmart, to whom she was married for almost 61 wonderful years.
