Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick was in Cedartown this weekend and enjoyed an afternoon with Polk County youth at a local small business, and will be taking written holiday wishes at the store until Christmas comes.
Youth were given a chance to sit with Santa and Mrs. Claus during an event at Remix at Moore’s in downtown Cedartown on Saturday, along with the chance to try out some truly holiday-themed soda flavors and candy parents could purchase and take home.
Remix at Moore’s even featured some interesting soda flavors in mint and candy cane soda for people to try out.
The store owned by Lindsay Hutcheson King hosted Santa as part of a daylong event kicking off the holiday season on Small Business Saturday, and lines were waiting for the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Claus, who heard youth’s Christmas wishes and sat for photos through the afternoon.
Remix at Moore’s – which underwent renovations through the past months in 2020 – is back open starting on Monday from Nov. 30 through Christmas on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for painting, soda and candy sales, along with some events including a Winter Paint Party on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m., and a gift wrapping and kid craft party on Dec. 12 from 4 to 9 p.m.
Check out the variety of candy and soda flavors they have from around the world, arts and craft items, stickers and patches and much more within the shop at 402 Main St., Cedartown. You can leave message for Santa at Remix in a box at the store as well, so stop by!
