Mrs. Mary Ann Lindsey, age 91, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Saturday March 1, 2025.

Mrs. Lindsey was born to the late Robert Levi Sloman and the late Mable Lorene Morris. In high school, she was known for her love of basketball, playing for Rockmart High School.

After high school, Mrs. Lindsey married her loving husband, James A. Lindsey, in 1953 and spent 59 loving years with him until his passing. Together they owned the Cedar Valley Golf & Country Club. Mrs. Lindsey began her professional career as an accountant and salesperson for Moore Pharmacy. She then transitioned into the real estate business.

An accomplished real estate agent, Mrs. Lindsey spent 47 dedicated years in the real estate business. She worked for multiple different agencies in her nearly 50 year career. During her tenure in real estate, she earned several notable awards, including the Circle of Excellence for Outstanding Performance Award for 2003 and 2005-2008.

She was also honored in December 2020 with her induction into the Georgia Board of Real Estate Hall of Fame. In her spare time, she loved playing golf, tending yardwork, and being outdoors.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lindsey is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Lindsey, and her siblings.

Mrs. Lindsey is survived by her children, Jody A. Lindsey and James R. Lindsey.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Lindsey will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
