The season remains alive for the Rockmart Lady Yellow Jackets and fans of the team as they took a win this afternoon over South Bulloch to advance to the Final Four.

The Lady Jackets won 5-2 over South Bulloch in the third game of the series of the Elite Eight played today.

They played two games on Tuesday in the road trip, taking a win and a loss to the opposing Lady Yellow Jackets. Rockmart lost Game 1 8-3, but came back with a 2-1 win to stay alive.

With the win this afternoon, they advance to Columbus for a chance to advance to state if they can get past the final four round. Rockmart plays against Oconee County for their chance to advance to the final round.

On the other side of the bracket, region foe Ringgold advanced to the final four alongside Pike County.
