Chamber planning Halloween fun around Trick-or-Treat Treasure Hunt

Do you want to have a fun way to possibly win prizes and enjoy Halloween locally? The Polk County Chamber of Commerce will soon be launching an event just for you.

Chamber Executive Director Blair Elrod said that a full list of participating businesses will be announced soon and rocks are being purchased and decorated to spread around Polk County for families to figure out clues and find during the Halloween season for a Trick-or-Treat With the Chamber treasure hunt starting on October 1.

Participants will need to check in after the Chamber hides rocks all across Polk County for clues to their whereabouts, and post a photo with the rock and where it was found to be able to show off your find.

Each rock hidden will have the name of a Polk County business, and each rock is the token to receive a gift basket for taking part in the search. Note: One rock is allowed per household to be found.

Check back here on Polk.Today and on the Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page for more information about the hunt, and if you are a business interested in participating contact Elrod at info@polkgeorgia.com.
