The Rockmart Lady Yellow Jackets picked up a win according to sources at the school in their scrimmage ahead of the season’s start, but scores and who they played weren’t immediately available (email that info to kevin@polk.today if you have it. – KtE)

The Lady Jackets are set to start their season on August 14 on the road against Cedartown, and play on August 18 at Sonoraville and August 20 in their first home game against Ringgold before hosting the Lady Bulldogs again on August 26. Following that, the Lady Jackets have Coahulla Creek on the road on August 27 before they take a break at the start of September and come back to their schedule to face the Lady Phoenix at home on Sept. 10.
