The Rockmart Lady Jackets softball team held their team banquet on Wednesday evening, and honored several players on the year after the 2020 squad finished as the Class AAA runner-up with a 28-11 finish, a third place spot in region and a run through to the title with a 6-AAA foe.

The offensive award for the year went to Alexis Teems, who graduates this year with the class of 2021. The defensive award went to junior Sam Wolfe, the Hustle award to senior Megan Johnson, and the Coaches award was shared by freshman Emma Scott and sophomore Maddie Owens.

The Co-Most Valuable Players for the Lady Jackets in 2020 were sophomore Gracey Arnold and Emilee Register.
