A 21-8 lead for the Rockmart Yellow Jackets Middle School football team was interrupted by stormy weather on Wednesday as they sat ahead of rival Cedartown before the game was called.

The two teams – facing off for the first time this year – battled on Wednesday afternoon before the game was forced to suspend play because of lightning in the area.
