The Rockmart Lady Jackets volleyball squad has already had a busy week with a win against the Trion Lady Bulldogs, and they are going to have a long day ahead when they host the At the Rock tournament coming up this Saturday.

Rockmart’s 3-1 set victory over the Lady Bulldogs on the road puts the team at 2-7 overall. They are on the road again to open region play at a 36-3-1 Adairsville squad later this afternoon.

As of Tuesday, their two wins have come from Trion and Unity Christian. They’ve posted losses to Bremen, Cedartown, twice to Pepperell, Christian Heritage, Model and Calhoun since the season started on August 12.

The Lady Jackets will host the annual At the Rock tournament starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
