The Polk County Commission met for their monthly regular session on Tuesday evening, July 2, 2024. They voted on several issues during the session including requests for a variance and zoning change at properties and several items before them on the agenda including a change to the landfill agreement which would allow for municipal sludge to be included back into the facility’s regular intake of residential trash.
