An Aragon woman was booked over the weekend on felony and misdemeanor charges after another claimed that her Oxycodone prescription was taken by a child for their mother, according to reports.
PCPD charged Kayla Dawn Harrell, 33, of an Aragon-area address following the June 19 theft report.
Per a PCPD report taken last week, Harrell was accused by the victim of having a juvenile come into their residence and took a bottle of Oxycodone containing dozens of tablets, and fled through the victim’s yard.
Police found evidence of the theft thanks to a handful of the pills being dropped near a chicken coop on the victim’s property.
Based on the report, Harrell was taken into custody on Friday afternoon by PCPD. She was charged with two felonies for theft by taking and a misdemeanor theft by taking charge.
She remained in custody on a $3,000 bond as of this posting.
