Cleanup on the side of the off-ramp was needed this morning after the roadway was cleared Tuesday evening in Cedartown.
A tractor trailer carrying a load of mulch from Oldcastle APG on Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. lost its load but remained the vehicle remained upright when going from the Highway 27 Bypass to Highway 278 East, per Capt. Craig Payton from the Cedartown Police.

The load spread out over the roadway and was cleared on Tuesday evening, but some remained this morning on the side of the road and equipment was brought out this morning to finish the job at the intersection almost directly across from Cedartown High School.
No one was injured during the incident.
