Inmate faces additional trouble after weapon, other items found on him at jail

A man already in prison serving a sentence for other charges was brought back to Polk County to face justice on more serious charges stemming from a 2021 investigation, according to local officials.
Tommy Allen Jackson, 35, was brought back to the Polk County Jail from Central State Prison on Sunday afternoon on multiple charges including incest, rape, child molestation and sexual battery against child under 16.
Due to the nature of that investigation, no further information was provided by Polk County Police on those charges unrelated to his prison sentence.
Once brought into the jail for booking and search, jailers found a shank (homemade knife) as well as other items, including a homemade smoking pipe, a needle and a “black powered substance known to commonly be used to make tattoos.”
Jackson remains in jail with no bond set on felony charges of incest, rape, child molestation, sexual battery against child under 16, crossing state/guard line with weapons, contraband, intoxicants, drugs without consent, unauthorized possession of weapon by inmate and a “superior pending” charge as well.
He was serving a sentence at Central State Prison for burglary and entering auto prior to his transport back to Polk County on Sunday.
