The Cedartown Police Department is seeking help in locating a teenager who went missing from home on Friday night.

Police Chief Jamie Newsome said that his department is still seeking the whereabouts as the week begins on locating Shealynn Boyer, a 13-year-old who was last seen in the Queen Street area at 11 p.m. on Friday, August 21.

Shealynn is five-foot-four, weighs 143 pounds and has shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes in a recent photograph. Other photographs featuring her disappearance on Fox 5 report her with longer hair with blond highlights and with a different last name.

Police ask that anyone with information about her whereabouts contact 911 or call the Cedartown Police at 770-748-4123.
