Trisha Lee Smith

Mrs. Tricia Lee Smith

Mrs. Trisha Lee Smith, age 77, of Aragon, GA, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022.

Mrs. Smith was born in Wilmington, NC, on June 1, 1945, a daughter of the late Henry Gallups and Omie Crib Gallups. Trisha lived her early years in Columbus, GA and had been a resident of Aragon since 1997. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening and pottery. Trisha was a Registered Nurse and had been employed with Douglas General Hospital and Floyd Medical Center before retiring as a home health nurse.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Argyroudis; and brother, Ronnie Gallups.

Trisha is survived by her husband, Dan Smith of Aragon, to whom she was married on August 27, 1991; children: Robert E. Smith III, Roberta, GA, Andrew Smith, Gadsden, AL, Amanda Smith, Silver Creek, and Jessica Hulsey (Matt), Cedartown; grandchildren: Nicholas Argyroudis, Megan Jackson, Ryan Terry, Brandon Terry, Abbie Hulsey, McKenna Hulsey, Colton Hulsey, Madeline Hulsey, Kiley Hollis, and Ben Smith; great-grandchildren: Zachary Argyroudis, Skylar Jackson, Elanah Jackson, Tryston Jackson, Katherine Jackson, and Elizabeth Terry; sisters: Tyia Dawson, West Jefferson, NC, Nancy Grantham, Eufaula, AL, and Joyce Duke, Columbus, GA; brother, Duffy Gallups, Batesville, MS; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. David Warriner officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society in memory of Mrs. Smith.
