Cedartown Police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are working together to solve a homicide that occurred on Gibson Street in the early morning hours today, according to sources.

Polk Today has confirmed one victim has died in the incident that occurred sometime around 4 a.m. in Cedartown. Two additional victims were injured.

Cedartown Police Chief Jamie Newsome did confirm a suspect is in custody.

Cedartown officials are expected to release more about the incident later this morning.
