The “It Takes a Village” community reunion is coming up in Cedartown at Turner Street Park this Saturday, with the opportunity to see old and new neighbors alike during this weekend’s gathering.

The June 18 community reunion begins at the park at 10 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m.

Fellowship, food and fun are promised for those who want to take part. Vendors are expected to be on-hand as well during the day.

Last year, Turner Street Park did host a Juneteenth celebration. 2021 was the first year Juneteenth – June 19 – was celebrated as a national holiday.
