Bert Wood Youth and Athletic Complex is playing host starting on Saturday for an all-weekend Memorial Day 8-and-under Recreation All Star baseball tournament.

The first games are kicking off at 10 a.m., with Rockmart facing off against Bartow Blue on Field 1, then Cartersville Purple vs. Cedartown on Field 2.

At 11:30 a.m., Dalton vs. Bartow Green play on Field 1, and Cedartown 2 and Cartersville Gold play on Field 2.

Winners and Losers brackets games continue at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and more rounds on Sunday afternoon and Monday. The championship game is scheduled for Monday afternoon, with an if-necessary game scheduled for Tuesday evening as well.
