Bell ringers return to celebrate the spirit of Christmas at Remix at Moore’s

Annual event provides an opportunity to continue new Ring the Bell Polk tradition on Dec. 24

Did you remember to step outside at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve to ring a bell?

A group at Remix at Moore’s in downtown Cedartown did so after enjoying some holiday fanfare to celebrate the holiday season and continue a fun tradition started in 2020 for Ring the Bell Polk.

The campaign, started last year and organized again in 2021 by Jannah Sorrell, saw local cities providing proclamations supporting the effort to spread holiday cheer throughout the community.

Bell ringers went outside of Remix at Moore’s at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve to spend two minutes shaking a variety of bells to spread the hope and magic of the holiday season around the community.

Partygoers enjoyed carols, free hot chocolate and some time to grab last-minute stocking stuffers from the variety of confectionaries and items on sale at the Cedartown landmark.
