A Rockmart man remains in the Polk County Jail facing a trio of charges that included child molestation after warrants were taken out and he was tracked down in Floyd County, according to police.

Rockmart Police Detectives took out warrants against Christopher Lave Stocks, 34, of 807 Forest Ave., Rockmart, for felony child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and false imprisonment.

The warrants were taken out for an incident involving a female under the age of 16 back in late October.

Based upon reports around the incident, Stocks was tracked down to the Floyd County area and taken into custody before being turned over to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office for booking.

Stocks remains in jail with bond denied as of this report since he was booked locally on November 24.
