Report: Police called for trespassing arrests man on drug charges

Multiple felony and misdemeanor charges were filed against a Cedartown-area man who was jailed after officers were called out not far from his home, according to Polk County Police reports.

Timothy Ray Waddell, 58, 4368 Collard Valley Road, Cedartown, remained in jail with bond denied on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

Per Polk County Police reports, officers were called out to Collard Valley Road and Gordon Road around 6 p.m. for a trespassing call.

Police only reported that they “made contact with the suspect and an arrest was made” in the incident. He was taken to the Polk County Jail and booked on a number of charges.

Felony charges included crossing state/county guard lines with weapons, intoxicants, drugs without consent, possession of a firearm by convicted felony or first offender, possession of schedule IV controlled substance, and misdemeanors for possession of firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, obstructing law enforcement officers, pedestrian must walk on sidewalk/shoulder and pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
